Who are the members?
Members of the Creative Motion Alliance are a diverse group of individuals who have experienced the benefits of continued Creative Motion study in their lives. Together, these talented people work to spread the word about the positive impact of applying Creative Motion to all aspects of their lives.
Our Mission Statement
The Creative Motion Alliance, Inc., is dedicated to the efficient use of energy to unify body, mind and spirit. (approved July 25, 2001)
How do we accomplish our mission?
- The Alliance sponsors workshops where Creative Motion is studied including the annual week-long summer conference known as the Windswept Music Workshop.
- The Alliance provides financial support to for continued study of Creative Motion through the Katheryn Allen Taylor scholarship and by providing logistical, educational and limited financial support for organizations to sponsor clinics and day-long or weekend workshops studying Creative Motion across the United States.
- The Alliance publishes “The Journal of Creative Motion” annually which explores the application of Creative Motion techniques and principles.
The Alliance supports Certification initiatives which help teachers become able to share Creative Motion with others.
- The Alliance membership meets once each year at the annual Windswept Music Conference.
