Teachers of Creative Motion

Martha Stockton Russell's lifelong quest led her to discover the principles of energy which she called Creative Motion®. She freely shared these principles with her students, who in turn became teachers of Creative Motion.

Passed down from teacher to student throughout the years, her teachings continue to positively impact the lives and music of the current generation.

Anne Niles, Margaret Allen,Opal Gilpatrick, Florice Tanner and others in the first generation studied directly with Mrs. Russell during her summer workshops in La Jolla, California. Students listed in subsequent generations studied with or were brought to Creative Motion study by their teachers who were from the previous generation.
