Eileen has served the interests of the Creative Motion Alliance long before the Alliance was formally founded in 1994. She shared instructional duties with Margaret Allen in the "early days" and led the primary body class up through the early 1990's. She played a pivotal role in the continued growth and development of Creative Motion. A piano student and long-time friend of Margaret Allen, Eileen was instrumental in the continuation of the Windswept Music Workshop, even after Margaret's death.

Throughout the ensuing years, Eileen has served on the faculty countless times, leading the body tuning classes, music education classes, applications to early childhood music (due to her extensive involvement in Kindermusik®) leading of advanced classes, seminars and other classes. She is an indispensable advisor to the Historians and Archive Committee, and has led seminars that explore the remarkable peple who continued Martha Russell's work in Creative Motion. She currently resides in Murphysboro, Illinois.

July 2008
Eileen Auxier was honored for attendance at 45 Windswept Music Workshops by historian Dr. Lora Little.
