John A. Morrison
M.M. from Northwestern University; and a B.M. from the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music. A former professional oboist, John is currentlly a vocalist in the Chicago area where he sings in the Northwest Choral Society and presents an annual solo voice recital of lieder and song. In addition to singing, John has conducted the Sears Chorus and the Royal Renaissance Recorders.

John Morrison has served the Creative Motion Alliance in a variety of ways. He served multiple terms on the Executive Board and has been instrumental in the formalization of the Certification procedures. A versatile musician, John is at home coaching both instrumentalists and vocalists. At Windswept he has conducted lectures and seminars on a variety of topics, worked with ensembles, and taught the Adult Creative Motion Applications classes in the area of vocal literature.
John currently resides in the Chicago area. |
