Phyllis Pasley
Phyllis Pasley received her M.A.T. from Webster University, and both a B.M.E. and B.S.E. from Central Missouri State University. She is Board Certified in Early Childhood Music from the National Board for Professional Teaching Standards and holds Level II Orff-Schulwerk certification. She is a public school music specialist/choral director and serves as coordinator for K-8 Vocal/General Music Specialists in the Pattonville School district. She has been a student of Creative Motion since 1991.

Phyllis is a charter member of the Creative Motion Alliance has been actively involved in the work of the alliance since its beginnings. She has served as secretary and first vice-president of the executive board, and currently serves as faculty liaison. Her primary contributions to the Alliance have been in the creation of informational brochures, promotional videos and other marketing materials - including this website.
She lives near St. Louis, Missouri with her husband, Tom, who is massage therapy student, reiki practitioner, Qigong teacher and professional seminar leader and a musician at heart. Tom's undergraduate degree was in trombone performance and he is learning guitar when he is not busy leading seminars across the United States. Phyllis is active in the St. Louis area as an educator, soloist, clinician, conductor, adjudicator, and composer. She sings with the St. Louis Chamber Chorus, a professional chorus specializing in a capella music under the direction of Philip Barnes. She serves on the Cultural Arts Commission for the city of Maryland Heights. |
