Journal of Creative Motion

Publication Guidelines

1. Articles must be submitted in at least two of the following formats:
   • on a 3.5 inch diskette in Microsoft Word
   • email as an attached file in Microsoft Word or in the body of the email message
   • double-spaced typewritten sheets through the mail.
2. Along with the article and author's name, please submit a brief biographical sketch (four or five sentences).
3. Articles accepted will be published according to the determined needs of the Journal and are subject to editing and/or condensing for reasons of style, clarity, and space.
4. The author is responsible to research adn document all statements, quotations, or other information that is not your own.
5. Illustrations, musical examples graphs, diagrams, and photographs sould be mounted on separate sheets of paper with captions. Since it is not always possible to print an illustration or musical example adjacent to its reference in the article, all illustrative material should be clearly identifieid in the text of the article.
6. Since permission from teh current copyright holder must be obtained to reprint all musical examples, please clearly identify the complete name of the work with opus number (if applicable), the composer, the edition your article references, the publishing company, and the eyar of publication. The Editor will secure permissions.
7. Copyright:
   •Creative Motion Alliance, Inc. copyrights all published works. The contributor may not reporduce or reprint portions of the work without permission of the Editor, acting on behalf of the Creative Motion Alliance, Inc.
8. Creative Motion Alliance, Inc. retains the right to reprint teh work in another form or in another issue of the Journal of Creative Motion.
9. Contributors to the Journal receive one copy of the Journal of Creative Motion upon publicationfor their own use.
