Jeff Pettit reports that this was a weekend
mountaintop experience for Creative Motion
and for organizer and presenter Susan McGuire,
and co-presenter - CMA President
Mary Hannah Klontz. Mary-Hannah and Susan created a special program entitled "Viva La Musica-Bring your Music to Life with Creative Motion" to choral directors at the Iowa Music Educators conference. People in the hour long session were transformed and heard the incredible difference between the singing they did with Creative Motion and without. They experienced subtle nuances in the traits of Energy exercise led by Susan.

"This was the best session I have been to!"

Participants took extra flyers about Creative Motion (prepared by Jeff Pettit) and Windswept (ready so early thanks to Phyllis Pasley!) to give to friends. Hooray!

Serendipity abounded when our clinicians were asked if they could give a ride to the airport to two celebrated speakers from from the conference; the keynote speaker, Janet Barrett, regional President of MENC and Marvelene Moore, sought after general music clinician and Dalcroze specialist. During the ride, Susan and Mary Hannah enjoyed learning more about these very interesting women and also shared information about Creative Motion, which their guests found very intriguing.
